Customers can call 800-288-2020 and follow the voice prompts to pay AT&T U-Verse bills, as of 2015. This number provides access to speak to a representative and to use the automated self-service feature.
Before placing the call, the customer needs to gather items needed to complete the transaction, including a copy of the bill, a method of payment, the last four digits of the account owner's Social Security number or the pass code.
When the payment processes, the customer should write down the confirmation number. The customer should note that the company charges a fee for paying by phone with a representative; but there is no fee to pay using the automated system during the call.
