When an AT&T Prepaid customer is low on or out of minutes he can add more minutes to, or refill, his account. This is accomplished by purchasing prepaid plan cards, paying by debit or credit card online or over the phone, or by setting up automatic payment.

AT&T GoPhone Prepaid service is available on a number of smart phones and other devices capable of accepting the AT&T GoPhone SIM card. In order for a GoPhone customer to maintain active service it is necessary to refill his account balance when he has used all of his minutes or reached a 30, 90 or 365 day expiration threshold.

AT&T offers GoPhone customers several methods with which to refill an account, including purchasing prepaid service cards, which are available in various amounts ranging from $10 to $100 at retail locations nationwide. Another refill method is payment by credit or debit card either online or through the MyAT&T app available on Android and Apple smart devices.

GoPhone customers may also set up an automatic payment called Auto Refill. Auto Refill keeps the customer's account active by automatically refilling his GoPhone account every 30 days. Auto Refill payments can be set up for any amount between $10 and $100.
