To print a file from an Android phone with Google Cloud, add your printer to your Google account in Google Chrome, and use the Cloud Print mobile application to print the file from your phone. You need a computer, a compatible printer, a Google account, Google Chrome and the Cloud Print app.

  1. Sign in to your Google account

Turn on the computer connected to your printer. Launch Google Chrome, and sign in to your Google account.

  2. Add your printer to Google Chrome

Open the menu, and select Settings. Open Advanced Settings, and select Add Printers from the Google Cloud Print section. Wait for the browser to search for the printers connected to your computer, and select the one you want to add. Leave the computer on.

  3. Install and configure the Cloud Print mobile application

Launch the Google Play store on your Android device, and search for Cloud Print. Install the app to your device, and launch it. Allow access to the same Google account connected to your Google Chrome desktop browser. Select your printer as the default printer for the app.

  4. Print from your Android device

Launch the Cloud Print app, and use the Local menu to navigate to the file you want to print. Alternatively, open the app that contains the file you want to print, and click Share to reveal a Cloud Print option. Configure your desired page options, and print the document.
