To clear your browsing history from Chrome on Android, tap Clear Browsing Data in the Privacy menu, which can be accessed from the browser by pressing the menu button and selecting Settings. Clearing your history on other browsers, such as Firefox or Dolphin, is comparatively similar.
- Go to the Settings menu
In the Chrome app, tap the menu button on the upper right hand corner of the screen. The menu button appears as three dots aligned vertically. Then, in the popup menu, tap on Settings.
- Go to the Privacy menu
In the Settings screen, tap on Privacy under the Advanced section. You may need to scroll down a little bit if you do not already see the Privacy option.
- Open the Clear Browsing Data dialog
In the Privacy screen, tap on Clear Browsing Data on the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- Clear your browsing history
In the dialog box that appears after tapping Clear Browsing Data, check that Clear Browsing History has a check mark beside it. Other types of data that you can remove are also included in the list. Take care to ensure you don't delete any data you want to keep. When ready, tap the Clear button and your browsing history, and any other data types checked, should be deleted.
