As of October 22, 2010, consumers can no longer download the Vista Home Premium software since the company ended sales of Windows Vista products. The production of computers pre-installed with the Vista operating system discontinued at that time.

Vista Home Premium was one of the product versions of the Microsoft Vista operating system lineup. Microsoft designed this version to enhance users' experiences with digital entertainment including music and TV. It also allowed such activities as integrating burning of DVDs and interaction between a consumer's PC with a fingertip or digital pen.

Microsoft ended mainstream support for Vista. As of 2015, users can still receive extended support until 2017. Users of the current operating system can still download the latest service pack update released in May of 2009.

As of September 1, 2015, Microsoft discontinued sales of the Windows 8.1 operating system. Customers who are looking to download a Microsoft operating system can download Windows 10.
