An albino red-eared slider is a rare pet turtle. They have no chance of surviving in the wild, and they are found among breeders. Breeders can also determine the sex of an albino red-eared slider by the temperature.
Albino red-eared sliders are no different than red-eared sliders. The red-eared slider is the most heavily traded pet turtle internationally, but the albino red-eared slider is a highly valuable turtle. Albino red-eared sliders can live for over 30 years. The slider is omnivorous, eating fish, greens, feeder worms and fruit. There are also krill and shrimp packets that are available to them as food. They normally hibernate during the winter, but they don't require hibernation in the southern parts of the Untied States if they are brought indoors.
