Twenty-four years later, it became the first company to begin shipping grass seed products directly to stores.

In 1995, the company merged with Miracle-Gro, which gave it an international reach. It was renamed the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in 2005. In addition to Miracle-Gro, the company markets a number of other popular brands, including Ortho, Roundup, Evergreen and Substral. Scotts Miracle-Gro Company has several different regional offices and research facilities across the United States.
